Isn't that the same idiot who was urging Trump before the election "do it", thinking it was all just one big laugh ?!

Honestly, it's extremely crazy at how much information we have available to us in this day in age, more than anytime ever in history, yet idiots still believe nonsense, because their favorite guy told them it was true. Rather than actually research it themselves with all this amazing information at our fingertips they just accept it as fact because it's what they want to hear..

I mean really, people who believe anything Trump says at this point much less even a year ago are fucking idiots. There is no other name for them.. It's actually extremely scary people have managed to make themselves so willfully ignorant because they believe in ideology over truth & facts.

It's like Religious people who think they can pray cancer away, Nothing you can ever tell them will change their mind.. All you can do is hope their offspring isn't contaminated with so much dumbness and breed the ignorance out of existence.. but sadly we know that doesn't happen... the stupid gene always manages to stay with us..

Well, if you look back, this is something that really started getting momentum during Reagan. He is the one that made the most significant changes about truth in reporting and what is news. And I don't see it coming to a end until 'everyone' is fed-up with the lies.
Meaning never because someone will still believe.

The highly religious example you sited is one that I have used as a example for someone who has no mental visualization of HOPE or the path to it and nobody is bold enough to say otherwise to them. So it continues. Heck I don't want to be the one that negates someone's religion because for some, it's the only thing that keeps their life in order.

No, you won't find anyone who will change their mind on trump. To do so would be to admit they were wrong about him and that is not going to happen.

Just wait 3 years and ask them to point to one thing he did to make 'their life better' in the way 'they personally' have felt that change.

Since it is early and we are about to have a large tax reform package rammed up our ass, they might be able to sight that but only because "they" have not been asked to pay for it yet. But it won't registrar with them when they will be asking for money to pay for the roads or water projects that they had it and gave it away to Corporate America in those tax breaks.

The internet provided a platform for those wise enough to understand what Rush Limbaugh and others had known, you only need to excite emotions and focus that pain to what you do not like/want to be effective.

Dis-information has reached a critical mass and it's getting to hot for democracy to handle. I think Putin and his crew understands this very well. And he is pretty mad at those sanctions Obama Admin put against those mobsters in Russia. he did not sanction the government. Just the players.

So you have those inside the country and those outside the country doing this mis-information at the same time. Trump, trying to maintain some level of support, will try to evoke some level of patriotism and that scares me when I think of the consequences.

It's not like we have not seen this playbook before in history. But normally in some other country. But then again, Look at Nixon ! ...LOL...

It's so much more than politics. Today I saw something on Facebook that said "you won't believe what happened to these people" and the main picture was one of my friends. She's fine. Nothing happened to her. They just downloaded two photos from her Facebook and made up some stuff.

On one hand the truth is easy to find out. On the other hand, there is just so much bullshit out there.
