How many people type in searches in the address bar?

I was just contacted by a company that sells keywords from the address bar. For example, instead of someone typing in an address, if they typed a keyword in the address bar it would go directly to your site. The price is $5000 for a one word keyword (per year, no other costs), $1000 for a two word phrase, and $500 for a 3 word phrase. Doesnt sound bad if you could get good keywords but anyone have any idea what percentage of people actually enter searches in the address bar?

Number one: Scam.

Number two: You have to have a special software/plugin to be installed on your browser in order to have this keyword functionality.

You guys are right, it is a fucking scam. The user has to have their plug-in in order for their browser to use the keywords, for some reason they neglected to tell me...lol.
