Are your sites HTTPS yet?

Just checking if you have gone HTTPS yet on your sites?

I have read that some of the larger tube sites are finally making the move.

What needs to be done to go HTTPS? Exact steps please.

Yes, they are free and great.
You have to renew the key every 90 days.

From what I read there, there is auto-renew? I did not try it on my sites, yet. Will see...

There is NO auto-renew.
You can renew it in your host Cpanel!

The Certbot packages on your system come with a cron job that will renew your certificates automatically before they expire. :winkwink: Maybe I will give it a try.

P.S. Cpanel is for pussies, who can't handle a terminal.

If your sponsors do not support ssl, I would a bit longer before setting up an ssl cert.

Or let your host do it..
Got a site on SSL but still waiting for the google magic to happen :D (meaning - it ranks shit atm)

This is a good thread I recently found out that all my websites have SSL but I just have to figure out how to switch everything over to it.

I did notice that certain pages of mine wont' be "secure" because the promo materials from certain other companies on my pages are not https. This doesn't have a negative impact does it?

Switch to HTTPS 2 weeks ago and traffic has dropped. Makes me regret it

There are 2 scenarios:
1) You guys set up it wrong!
2) Google algorithm updates hit your site!
