SARS update for webmaster summit
http://www.cbc.ca/stories/2003/04/14/sars_to030414
not sure if this should be of concern to the general public or just to those involved with the Church, but to me it looks like 500 more people probably walking around not knowing they might have sars and I highly doubt everyone that was told to stay inside are going to do that. ex: someone is told they might have it, and told to take 10 days off work, well some people will say screw it and go outside and to work anyway. Any opinions, comments? Should the webmaster summit be called off? |

Sheesh, it's not an epidemic for crying out loud. And it's not only in Toronto either!
I don't think that people that have it should defy orders and go to work or school. In some cases I understand why they go to work, if they have no insurance if the government is not going to pay for your time off...It's not right, however, some of those people need to survive! Right now the great debate is who is going to cover the cost while people are being quaranteened(sp) I don't think that anyone should panic about coming here, your just as likely to catch it where you are now IMO. |
