Are Adult Webmasters Slobs?

I was just reading the thread by Steve Jones at Lightspeed about adult webmasters trashing his suite. Then I read stories by other webmasters about other webmasters trashing suites.

The obvious conclusion to draw from all this is that adult webmasters are slobs. That's what most people would expect.

What else do you expect from a group of people who trash traditional standards of decency?

Does any of this surprise anyone?

uh.. lots of people + alchy = trashed place
no matter who it is!

Am I a slob? Yes
Have I ever trashed a hotel suite? No
Do I drink? No
Would I trash or damage anything at a party like that? No.

I think it is the drinking factor that turns them that way. Cut out the alcahol, just allow pot smoking and you will have a lot of mellow ppl with spilt drinks only.

Some of our designers are slobs, most are pretty organized and hey one she is very hot :) and bi.

But their work is the best on the net for sure.

yes of course we are slobs but we are happy slobs :thumbsup

Not all of us are like that. I for one spent most of my time outside and even used an ashtray while I was out there. I will not disrepect my things so I certainly will not disrespect others!!

I'm fairly O.C. on cleanliness, but I have an eclectic style of neat and orderly.

There's a difference between being a slob, and trashing rooms at a party.

Ive left hotel rooms with the beds flipped over and the bible torn up, But my apt on the other hand is immaculate, everything in order. No underwear on the floor, or nothing like that.

But from what I have seen of most peoples desk posting here on gfy, yeah most are slobs.

I dont think webmasters are slobs....

I think its more a matter of certain webmasters, who have not yet fully grasped maturity, going to a large gathering where everyone is acting wild, and not being able to control themselves under the influence of .... well, whatever they happen to be under the influence of.

None of these things happen until certain people (not even a large group) start imbibing in mind-altering substances (alcohol, various drugs, etc). The caring of consquences goes out the window (well hell, this isnt MY room) and people just start doing stupid shit.

Now, that isnt to say that there arent webmasters out there that don't do these things just for the malicious intent - they do. I have seen it done. But I am more apt to believe that its the ummmmm lack of inhibitions caused by other things - as well as example (oh look, they put their ciggie out on the carpet, its already ruined so i can too)
that causes stupid shit like destsruction of property to happen.
