Trump-voting wife US gets ready to deport her husband
it's trumps fault he entered the usa back in the 90's?? Nope! excuses excuses
https://i.imgur.com/IukgNrp.jpg A Donald Trump-supporting woman, who voted for the US president in part because of his immigration policy, is set to see her husband deported. Helen Beristain's husband, Roberto, is to be sent back to Mexico after it was discovered he entered the US illegally back in 1998. Roberto, who owns a restaurant in Indiana was detained after he made his annual check in with immigration officials last month. After entering America he received immigration papers but in 2000 Roberto accidentally crossed over into Canada on a trip to Niagara Falls and ended up being detained by officials. He was then told to leave the US but did not because Helen was pregnant. This meant immigration officials had the authority to deport him, which they are doing now, after last month's check-in. Roberto and Helen have four daughters. Helen told US media that she thought Trump would only deport dangerous crimiinals, not "model citizens". "[Trump] did say the good people would not be deported, the good people would be checked," Helen said, as reported by Law Newz. The deportation has also provoked an angry response from some in the community who claim Roberto is a good man "without so much as a traffic ticket against his name." article... |
They win the prize!

Good! Republicans have no empathy for others until they are affected, then are surprised when it happens to them.
I know what she th ought.....Trump will deport others (bad hombres) and not my husband She didn't give a shit about the affects it would have on breaking up other families.... |
You wouldn't expect less from a wife ...

The typical redhat thinks supporting the rich businessman will trickle down to them. The minority redhat thinks supporting Trump means their a step above those who don't, and give them special protection against his racist & xenophobic ways, it won't.
Imagine how many of their friends and family they stuck their nose up at defending Trump and putting down others. Who's the winner now? Those chickens have come home to roost. |

You also show how you're threatened by the black man's productivity in creating threads here when all your limited intelect allows is race baiting and put downs based on false narratives and enforcing the fact that racists are damaged stupid people :2 cents: |
It's just stunning how people can be this stupid. Why would the wife of an illegal immigrant willing vote for a man who wants to remove ALL illegal immigrants from the country?
At a certain point in time people get what they deserve in life. |

claiming racism had no role would simply be impossible...if you set back generations of a certain race this will have effects in the future because the bill always comes due even after 100-s of years...even today the racism is present but at a much lesser degree... |

Trump promised to stop the violence in Chicago but he chickened out, just like he did on healthcare. Trump is such a failure at fulfilling his promises, he's good at lying though. |

Once you're given a deportation order you can't apply for citizenship for a mandatory 10 year penalty period. He used a loophole to get a greencard, DL and legal SS# to stay in the states while checking in with ICE once a year. In 2007 He applied for reconsideration because he's married to a U.S. citizen and that case is still pending. Another article with more of their details here. So technically in 2007 he did apply and it's pending. Once you get a deportation order though you're fucked because America wants you the fuck out and you didn't leave so we're gonna have to force you! |
