so ... syria is next on the list.
... I am pretty much sure that the only country that has weapons of mass destructions in the middle east region is israel ...
|
Israel has a very strong defense.
They could have taken care of Iraq in 2 days, not 3 weeks. |
Hi Marty,
The US could have taken care of Iraq in one day. It's all a matter of what you consider "taken care of" to mean. |
Absolutely, but somehow I doubt Israel will ever appear on the list
|
US owns all. Case closed.
|
Yes, looks that way unfornately.
I guess that NONE of the world leaders today have heard that one man or woman can rule the ENTIRE world. How many times has someone tried this in history?, it just aint possible.... |
my 2 predictions:
1) we will not fight any wars withing 12 months 2) we won't fight neither Syria nor North Korea in the next 3 years we have achieved all intermidiate goals by crushing Hussein |
keep in mind, that you guys need direct access to the mediteranian sea ... syria would be the cheapest sollution here.
.. as of north korea, I pretty much agree with you, I wouldn´t fight someone that could strike back either ... |

Israel could have nuked the shit out of Iraq before breakfast without anyone complaining. |
:thumbsup Got Oil? :thumbsup

Wouldn't Russia, China and Japan have more to say on that subject? |

Israel provides all access to Medeteranean sea we need, along with Turkey and Greece and Italy, we just don't wanna fight another arab country, thus confirming something what everybody suspect already- we do not trust/like arabs ;-))) as for North Korea's responce, only in their dreams they can respond with what's left after the first strike we can inflict. The reason we don't wanna go in NK is we don't wanna spread ourselves thin all over the globe, too expensive and NK is a bigger threat to Russia and China than to USA.. "Don't use cannon to kill moscito" (--Confucy) ...especially when moscito is not bothering you ;-))) |

There military technology is pretty much the same as Iraq's Notice how they chilled out once they seen how Iraq was overcome to fast. I don't think we gonna attack syria anytime soon(next five years or so). Just putting they heat on them so they won't fuck with the US. |
Quote:
they will be the ones to use nukes first, my unfortunate prediction |
Quote:
Iraq was dealt with "kids gloves", as they do not have nukes, as far as we knew. NK is another story and the strike against them would have been much stronger, IMHO |

from another thread.
'Iran, Iraq, Syria, Libya, Cuba, North Korea, and Sudan continue to be the seven governments that the US Secretary of State has designated as state sponsors of international terrorism. ' http://www.state.gov/s/ct/rls/pgtrpt/2000/2441.htm written in 2000 the list was stated years ago, why do you guys bring it up now? |

Bush should try to create a better economy in steading of wasting billions of $$$ on war. Starting another war straight after the Iraq war would be a stupid mistake |

Lordy... You guys need to do some real reading...
NK whooped our asses the first round. The only reason we got ahead at one point was because we came in from behind pushed them up to China and then again got our asses kicked back down again which ended the war, more less. As for NK, they have been dug in and doing so for many years now. NK would not be a 2 month fight but years worth. NK would nuke it's own lands just to kill our Military if we decided to strike. As for NK weapons, do some research, they are far, far, far more advanced than Saddam. Including nuclear, biological and chemical weapons. As well as a navy and air force of sorts and one really fucking strong ground force that is trained to fight in that land for years and years, and have been doing so for years and years. If we did invade NK again, what will happen AGAIN when we get to close to China? Think... As for Syria, I have been to Syria 2 different times and it was not for vacation. Syria has an army of 2.4 million with and started it's nuclear program in 1979. The advantage we have over them is they are broke. Syria, has weapons, but no money, we won't invade. NK has major fucking weapons but again no money and no real resources that we need, again we won't invade. |

syria is a pretty ramshackle hereditary dictatorship for sure. don't be fooled by the number of soldiers though. iraqi soldiers when given a choice between having the shit bombed out them or going chose to go home.... probably the syrians would do the same. syria hasn't been able to keep its armed forces current either.... since syria has no oil... i wonder what the anti war peaceniks would say? |
Who the fuck said Syria doesnt have oil?
hahah Im not one of the 'its about oil' hippies, but they clearly have oil. 'Does Syria cooperate with other state sponsors of terrorism? Yes. Syria and Iran work together over issues related to Hezbollah. Syria also has a complicated relationship with neighboring Iraq, a regional rival governed by another wing of the Baath Party. Syria joined the U.S.-led coalition to drive Iraq out of Kuwait during the 1991 Gulf War, but ties have since warmed somewhat. Syria signed a free trade agreement with Iraq in 2001 and is the primary conduit for Iraqi oil pumped and sold in defiance of U.N. sanctions, thereby providing Saddam Hussein with a large source of illegal income. U.S. pressure on Syria to curtail the flow of Iraqi oil has been unsuccessful.' http://www.terrorismanswers.com/sponsors/syria.html |

Ahh, maybe cause there are 37,000 American military personnel over there protecting South Korea. |

'We have only little oil.' |
We would walk all over Syria but at the same time I do think they are stupid enough to try to use chemical weapons.
Syria does have petroleum but they only export $3-4 billion a year so it's small amounts. Iraq: $12 billion Kuwait: $15-20 billion I don't see us going into Syria, at least not any time soon. |
Watch closely and mark your calendars guys cuz this only happens once every millenia...
