Ok dont all of you jump on my ass when I show you the following URL - the reason I come to this board is because you are the essence of the porn webmaster industry and unfortunately I value your rants.

From what I can gather this method of showing images is legal if several conditions apply - 1. webmaster or public submitted images 2. sponsor/host is CLEARLY indicated

Then again what the fuck do I know but hell I am tired of the same old TGP methods and there has GOT to be more ingenious ways of marketing to the masses.

From my views those galleries give way too much content to the surfer. Only use under 20 images.

The layout is too simple, surfers want colors and flashing things that attack them to click.

Yeah that is not a marketable gallery it is simply a beta test of an idea thus the blah colors and minimal information - obviously I would have templates that submitters could use.

The main idea I guess is that TGP makers could save some time if they have some extra images they can throw in a directory on a server somewhere - plug in the sponsor url and description etc.

you hotlink the full image from a gallery and resize it to 50x50 with your height and width tags.

so on the page where there are 40 images, each image must be downloaded in full, regardless of whether or not you want to see it.

you're missing one of the key aspects of a THUMBNAIL gallery post.

also, you're stealing someone else's bandwith. i hope these people present you with a nice bandwith bill.

Takes ages to load, because you squished the big pics into thumbnails with html width/height tags. Paying for your bandwidth is gonna suck if you get any serious traffic :)

If you had a small brain cell somewhere you would understand this is for a WEBMASTER to plug in galleries - therefore PROVIDING permission to show the images, also the links are configurable upon submitting the URL.

well - i looks like you just pulling pics off some web site. example - a TGP gallery submitted to somebody, and your "re-packaging it" in a different format. in which case: most people have some kind of .htaccess protection to prevent hot/direct linking ( which in essense is what it appears your doing ). if not - then your conditions 1 and 2 need to be spelled out more. 1: where is this publically submitted to ? if your "pulling" some other TGP's submission - i'd call it hot linking. 2: different sponsors have different rules on "how" sponsor provided content is labeled. your example doesn't seem to follow the rules i've seen.

Its a fucking example and this script is for a WEBMASTER as a tool, this is not FOR ME TO POST YOUR IMAGES - damn I thought GFY had more intelligent users but I guess some of you have been looking at too much porn. ;)

That script is an example - if you want submit your own just to see what I mean about how it works. Lets say you have a directory of random porn images you have legal right to display but dont want to spend the time to MAKE A NEW GALLERY just plug in the URL and a link to whatever page you want to be listed as the sponsor.

I think many of you are misunderstanding what exactly this is about. I have purchased thousands of series of images and I would personally use something like this for the less marketable images(older images, lower quality, some not worthy of the effort of creating a gallery page for). I could still USE my images by using something like this. I mean you submit galleries to TGPs right why wouldnt you want to salvage some of those less marketable images?

Auto-thumbnail generation could be done easily, but I guess my whole PURPOSE of posting this on GFY was to see if TGPs can evolve? Are we so stuck on the same old scheme of one thumbnail or one description link to click through to a page the surfer may not trust and may not be within a consistent framework of marketing to individual consumers.

I guess thats why HUN and SHEMP and the like are at the top of the heap keeping with quality and most other TGP webmasters rely on tricks to claw to the top.

I rarely pull out my wallet as a consumer and the only thing that would make me purchase porn as a consumer(not as a webmaster of course) is what the female looks like. I could give a fuck about the million ads on most of these galleries I know what the hell I am looking for as a consumer and finding it within a consistent framework would make me purchase, not PUSHING it and causing me to click through to blind links and traffic exchanges.

As a webmaster I have to first and foremost think of what my consumer wants, they dont want bullshit, they dont trust MOST TGPs. Anyone else got any bright ideas?

Also, if you are trying to do anything creative or advanced, forget it. Most tgp owners and such are not that bright and like to stick with retro 90's technology.

Of course, you can also blame the fucking monkeys who need to cheat to make $1 in this biz. Pretty sad.
