what's your favorite cigar and why

u know it's been done on GFY before... but ahhh tobacco is so nice... and relaxing... i think i've taken some of my best naps ever these past few days... :)

i found a full sized cigar is usually too much for me... so I just had an arturo fuente "short story" -- only $5 but ahh pretty yummy worth 2 good naps... :smokin i get so relaxed i just don't have a care in the world... it's fantastic... i smoke a little -- fall asleep -- then wake up and mosey over to the track... my muscles feel fantastic after a good nap.

i change it up too -- sprints, high-knees, trotting... u name it I'm all over that track... damn there are some fine chicks out there too --

really I think the key to sprints is in the mid-section... u have to have a strong back and abs, etc. to really unleash the power in sprints... i think it has something to do with energy dissipation... if you completely firm you get a much more fluid motion... like a fucking train man... once I get up to speed... and I have a good song on the MP3 player holy shit I am fucking flying... we have a rubberized track too... the turns piss me off tho -- i may have to switch it up running backwards because turning left left left on the track will probably give me some lopsided muscles... hehe...

anyway back to the regularrrrlllly scheduled program.

Montecristo A
thats THE cigar
love them

TheFLY 04-14-2003 10:56 PM

oh in case ur wondering, arturo fuente is my fav... it's snow's fav too... they usually have a nice smooth flavor not too spicy and not too potent... i mean shit I smoked one of those romeo & juliet cigars once and hell i was on my ass after a few puffs... i'm not smoking a cigar to end up in a coma .

MetaMan 04-14-2003 10:56 PM

Macinundo,
mmm smooth.

stevo 04-14-2003 10:57 PM

I just smoke Black & Milds, does that count? :)

ronin 04-14-2003 10:58 PM

Marlboro :stoned

TheFLY 04-14-2003 11:11 PM

u know i've tried those little "mini" cigars -- seriously don't waste your time -- they all taste the same no matter what brand u get they are all shit... I think it's probably the same company that produces all those little cigars... because the packaging is always the same... it's just a scam...

heeh no that is shit man... look at the package I bet it says "contains no real tobacco" :1orglaugh

TheFLY 04-14-2003 11:13 PM

i've seen those really really cheap cigars i bet all they do use paper or little bits of cardboard and spray that shit with some nicotine... and there u go instant "cigar"... hehe just don't inhale that recycled paper :winkwink:

tony286 04-14-2003 11:13 PM

Punch chateau L and a excalibur number 1 maduro .Both are very smooth smokes also big ring sizes which I like big ring size equals a cooler burn.

2477 04-15-2003 12:38 PM

Montecristo Especial No. 2....Not too well known, but man what a smoke. Although, most of Cuban cigars have really gone down hill over the past 7 years.

12clicks 04-15-2003 12:49 PM

Partagas Lisutania
Opus X (any size but especially the giant one. name excapes me)
Cohiba Esplendito
VSG spellbound

Why? because they're all tasty. :thumbsup

ElvisManson 04-15-2003 12:51 PM

Padron Anniversary 1964 or 1928 are the best cigars made. Period.....

the Fuentes Opus X is way over rated.

i will agree with you on the Cohiba's though

Oh..and Cigars handed out by CC-Bill Reps are REALLY nice too....lol

MrPopup 04-15-2003 12:56 PM

Any cigar that has been placed near or on Monica Lewinsky's clitoris.

hottoddy 04-15-2003 12:56 PM

Consuegra #9 and #73. On terms of value and flavor, they can't be beat.

Best smoke ever for me was the Romeo & Julietta, Cuban of course, not the Dominican. I had a whole box and when I got 'em they were a little dry.... After a little while in the humidor they were absolutely perfect.

Flavor, draw, burn, smell, the whole thing was just perfect. Haven't come close to that since.

I once was given a small box of "Cohiba"s from "Cuba" but there was something _really_ wrong with them. I think there is a big counterfeiting problem. They tasted like dirt...

I've heard the real thing is amazing though.

Cohiba and Opus X make up 90% of the counterfeit market. :(

2477 04-15-2003 01:15 PM

So True...I worked for a tobacconist for about 5 years. The majority of the marquis cigars ( Cohiba, Opus, etc...) we saw were counterfeit. There were several customers who left the shop w/ shattered egos once we let them know the cigar they brought in to flaunt, was a knock-off.

Two questions:
1)Any dead giveaways that you are looking at a counterfeit?
2)Where do you get the goooooood stuff?
