Google Scares me
Welp it is not really googles fault, probably all the engines do this, but have a look at your own personal info:
If you go to http://www.google.com and type in your telephone number it will actually pull up directions to your house - there is a way to have your number removed. Many people are unaware of this danger. I was, in fact! Go to www.google.com then type in your phone number (separated by hyphens, including area code) and click on Google Search. If your phone number is listed it will show your name and adress and give you two map options, Yahoo and MapQuest. See how accurate the map is to your home. Very scary!!! |
Duped thread, use the other one...
Great fubar on my part, huh? I am so proud of this :-) Hi Lens :-) |

The map isn't very accurate-- But it's close enough.
If you didn't know that you could find someone's address using a phone number, you're about 10 years behind on using the Internet. :winkwink: |
Who cares. All your personal information is readily available to anyone who wants it.

I dont see why Noga is bothered about it anyway.
Who in their right mind would want her info? Why would they use Google to find it? Its scrawled on most female washroom walls anyway :thumbsup Regards, Lee |
