Ok sent wire usually takes a few days, the guy im doing bizness with says his bank says it will take 2 weekss, ok am i being scammed here bitches?

No way it's taking 2 weeks! It takes up to 5 work days!

My bank gives my similar shit about wires I'm guessing so you don't bug their ass daily. It always comes in quicker though. Also if the wire is over a certain amount the feds automatically put a hold on it for several days.

they do have Western Union in Hungary, and it could take longer if it is an international tranfer, and you get stuck with some shit ass bank on the other end. I was in Hungary last october, and the banking sytem seems as advanced as it is here. The tellers have the same attitude an all.....:1orglaugh

At my old job we were doing wires to countries all over the place and a few of the smaller, less organized countries -- in some cases, did take a few weeks to clear. 3 weeks does seem a bit harsh though.

I sent a wire to Bangladesh a while back. My bank told me it could take up to 3 weeks for the wire transfer to actually reach the guy's account. It ended up only taking about 6 business days, but it <i>can</i> take as long as 3 weeks.
