I've been that way for days.

There's been a kewl sounding version of "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" on a couple of commercials. I've also heard it on an ER last year and in a couple of movies.

Well I finally got frustrated enough to go hunting for who sings it. It's a Hawaiian guy named Israel Kamakawiwo'ole. Great mellow voice. Listened to a few more songs he'd done and then I learned that he died in 1997 at the age of 38.

Makes the song I've been enjoying so much mean that much more.

ive seen Hank Jr with his son on drums like 8 years ago, and then years later, ive seen Hank 3 on his own at a show not too long ago at the Roxy.

man i saw Waylon Jennings, With Hank, and Charlie Daniels on a riverboat casino in New Orleans called 'Boomtown' - damn i love music.

i looove the rowdy ass country shit.
