I have a strong feeling US will explode the
M.O.A.B bomb in the tikirit area of IRAQ within the next 24 - 48 hours.

I heard its to scare the Syrian and Iranian governments and send a mesg to N. Korea (incase they don't bow to the power what they will face).

Yeah I head it was for potential psychological factors. Like the US military was not fucking scary enough, nor taking a country in 3 weeks and the capitol is 48 hours.

They better not drop that thing on a city. That would be fucking murder and I don't see it happening.

I wouldn't be surprised if they drop it in the desert just for the locals to see. But something like that should not be used on any city. My god it would kill hundreds of thousands of people, and pretty much negate the whole idea of them not targetting civilians.

Yea I also think they will drop it on the outskirts of the city.

The United States is not stupid enough to drop it on a civilian populated area, if anything they will drop it on an Iraqi/Republican Guard convy. It will not be dropped 'on' the city. From what I know, the bomb has a pretty small area that it effects. Also, they've already dropped a few of these in Afgahnastan [test models I believe].

Mentally I am not prepared for this.

From what I heard, there is a massive underground bunker in Tikrit that is so deep your ears pop going down the elevator. Its probably for that.

Plus its kind of like the fireworks on July 4th. The miltary wants to do the grand finale, and get the "money shot" for the media and TV.

u boneheads they aren't going to drop moab on a civilian area, the bomb is meant as intimidation possibly to scare any last pockets of resistance... i dont think there is a need for it now.. but it would be dropped on caves and or an area with a large convoy of enemy

the ones in afghanistan was the Daisy Cutters, which is smaller than moab
