1. coinbase, but be careful, don't mention or ask anything about porn websites, they will automatically ban you, they banned me because i asked them if i could use coinbase for a porn website,
they banned me right away , i told them could i at least keep my account as a personal account, they said too bad, you are banned, i even had a hard time trying to take out my 14 dollars that was stuck there, i waited 6 months and made another account, with a different email and never asked for help about anything ever again, they are sketchy, they often banned people my new account has a 1000 limit per week and i've never had any problems, remember don't ask them anything,.. 2. localbitcoins, but the price is alot higher than market rate, some of the sellers are idiots, i would be good to purchase in large quanities, for small amount, doesn't seem very good, since the price is high that's all i use so far bitstamp you have to wire money, its annoying and slow, no credit card or fast bank deposit gemini, i've recently signed up, but havent bought anyfrom there yet, i use just coinbase, it works fine, i purchase 20 dollars worth and quickly send it to my desktop wallet, then spend it from there i don't have enough money to buy 1 bitcoin or more bitcoins at a time anymore, its getting way too expensive i should've put all my savings into bitcoin when it was cheap, i wouldve been rich, i buy a little bit every month, and it keeps going up in price, so i am making a little bit of profit every month, and using it to buy gasoline gift cards, so im saving some money for gas every month, as i need to save every little penny as i can, rent and car is too expensive, if it wasn't for bitcoin going up every month, i wouldn't be able to afford the gas in my car |
First of all, don't tell anyone anywhere anything about your shit. If you are thinking about doing business with a company always read their terms and conditions. Coinbase is US based and subject to federal and state regulations. Coinbase is for beginners to learn and get started, then move on to anonymous sources to protect their investment. Decentralization is your friend. To stay in Coinbase is to possibly be subject to monitoring by the government. Not really an issue for a one or two BTC, more than that and the government might take an unhealthy interest in you.
I use Poloniex to purchase or sell for the most part. Cryptonator or Jaxx to receive select coins before sending to a hardware wallet. For serious BTC and ETH coin holders I definitely recommend a hardware wallet or paper wallet to hold coin. You can easily transfer back and forth to a Poloniex account for trading or purchase. Plus it is very hard for the government to find out your holdings. If you use online wallets for permanent storage you can easily get hacked. Stay with companies that have some history and a track record. Lots of coin operations come and go, when they go so does your coin. BTC is for holding now. Other coin like Dash, Eth, Monero, Zcash, and Litecoin, etc, are for trading and holding. Regarding BTC, Bits are one millionth of one Bitcoin or one thousandth of one mBTC. A bit is the same thing as a μBTC or a microbitcoin. These are the denominations of BTC and how it will be used. If you are spending, it is best to think in these terms rather than one Bitcoin, especially with the price continually going up. BTC equals a gold bar only digital so to speak and much easier to carry worldwide. You can carry BTC in a Trezor wallet and have unlimited funds almost anywhere in the world and no one can touch it. If you lose the Trezor, your coin is still safe. And of everything regarding digital currency, it is about the Blockchain more than the coin. The Blockchain is going to affect all of us way more than you can possibly imagine. It is a game changer.
