I'm still good friends and have a long distance relationship with my highschool honey. I've watched her go through one marriage, a small number of bad relationships, raise a daughter, bury her mother, do prison time for a cocaine problem and age gracefully.

Though we still love each other, the agreement we reached about 40 years ago, staying apart to remain friends, has worked very well. Unfortunately, due to her recent diagnosis of cancer, our relationship is not to be much longer. But that just makes me cherish the last that much more.

I married my high school sweetheart. We got back together 2nd year of college. Sunday it will be 18 years of wonderful wedded bliss..........well mostly. lol

I too married my high school sweatheart :) We are still together for 15 years now. We have two little boys and work together 24/7. Its a challenge for sure, but worth it!
