Shows they are racists. Suppose someone said of the side they espoused, "Nobody particularly liked Joe Blow, but he was a white guy with a white army."

Yes they love Arabs and hate Jews and make no secret about it. Even if the guy was an arsehole he was an Arab arsehole.

They forget he murdered millions of Arabs and only remember the couple of hundred Israelis his suicide bombers may have got.

That is what this thread is about, looking at it from the other side.

Imagine for one minute that you have been thrown off the land your family has owned and farmed for generations and been taken over by a lot of foreigners with guns. If your kids throw stones their soldiers reply with machine gun fire. You are not allowed to go as you please in a land that was yours for centuries. Denied by people who have been there a few decades.

All this is backed up by the most powerful nation on the earth and no one else really cares. Except this one arsehole, but he?s your arsehole and you have no one else.

What would you do?

Imagine you are living on the land your family has farmed for generations and your sons have been arbitrarily murdered or tortured by Saddams regime or your 12 year old daughters have been raped by Uday Hussein and perhaps had her tongue cut out if she complained. Imagine living in a constant state of fear. Im sure you would want Saddam back.

Exactly another side. One mans hero is another mans coward. One mans freedom fighter is another mans terrorist.

Which are you talking about ? Mesopotamia ? Ottoman empire ? The evil british who created Iraq after invading baghdad in the early 1900's ? Which tribes ? Turks ?

I love how other Arabs living free in the west think that the Iraqis should live under Baath Party rule just to save face.

I have not seen any western Iraqis against this. NONE! That speaks volumes to me. The HATE of the west from Cairo and Damascus is what fuels the fire.

There state run media tells them the the west is keeping you down, it's the wests fault, it's all the west. They are infidels. Meanwhile those governments could give a shit about their people. Tell me. Why is Syria occupying Lebanon? Why is that okay? Because it's an Arab they are allowed to kill and rape there people.

A. You would expect the people that have left the country to hate the regime, something would be wrong otherwise.
Some people want to leave the US because of Bush. When they go to Canada or Australia or Brazil or wherever their interviews will all be anti-bush. Doesn't mean that millions of republicans still don't love it there.

B. I've seen plenty of western Iraqi's against it.

C. It's a view that fits into our side of the propaganda machine and is more likely to be given air-time, ergo "what you've seen"
