index.php or index.cgi files?

Some will not accept the extension .php or .cgi if that's what you mean. It seems kind of pointless as far as reducing cheaters though.

Yeah but you can change your .htaccess to read html files as php code.

i wish they did tho -- i have a php script that builds the gallery for me... there might be a way to have your host configure somthing fancy so certain .html files are executed as .php but i don't think it's easy to do.....

Why don't you just change your script to write out an 'index.html' for you after creating the gallery, then crontab it for daily updates? Arty |
