IP or NAME Based Hosting
 

I am using virtual hosting and not aware till today that some of my domains are IP based and other name based hosted.
Whats the difference between them ?
I checked i cant reach name based domains with ip adress.
But my main concern; how google treats those domains ?
I got some ip based / name based domains that google ignore...
Which one is better in terms of SE bots ?
