Hackers Read Here - Challenge for ya...
Hey,
I wanted to save this video clip from a news site...but the people are being difficult with hahahahahahahahahaha. Lets see what you guys can do, and see if you can get the location of a *.wmv or whatnot for me to save. http://video.kron4.com/?clip=1181529 PS: Pretty cool clip about the war and the A-10 pilot that was shot at. Thanks, Kevin |
this is not hacking.
http://playlist.yahoo.com/makeplaylist.dll?ID=1181529 - right click and 'save as' filename.wmv |
get ASF Recorder
|
what if its a UDP stream
u prolly cant get the file.. but only record it |
I challenged a hacker about 4 years ago. Haven't since....I lost big time.
|
420 I know it's not hacking, but that's the best way to get peoples' attention. As far as your method, I was able to open that in WMP but beyond that I have no way of capturing it. That opens live (a UDP stream perhaps) from a URL...there is no File -> Save As option. Try again.

Yeah I know I did that 420, and all it did was give me a 1K shortcut...try again.
|
change the file type to 'all files' and save it as 'something.wmv', that works fine for me on win98

I almost put you on ignore for this #$%@# thread... but then I saw we have the same birthday.
|
The "hacker" crap was only to get people's attention...trust me I know the whole "hacking" scene a bit more than you probably think I do. Just wanted to get good views to this thread so I could find the damn video!
|
I used windows media encoder 7.1 and ripped from it, and it captured the windows media window - but not the video itself.

For all those saying this isn't "real hacking" I agree, but if you guys are so good, why hasn't a working link been posted yet? :winkwink:
|
Do you want us to do everything for you? Here's the clip in downloadable format: http://www.belent.com/ace-ace.wmv

how did you do it may I ask? cuz the furthest I got was this: http://63.250.205.2/broot3/BusShare1.../4/3842504.wmv but that, again, was only a link the the real file, and when you view the source of that page, you only see the same adress appear =) good work again! :thumbsup |
I got down to the mms link fairly easily.
mms://wmcontent05.broadcast.com/broot3/BusShare12/kron/4/3842504.wmv?StreamID=3842504&b=d6iau2cva4fee3ea487 7e&ru=MozillaMSIE&CG_ID=1181529 But then I thought I was stuck, since I couldn't make heads or tails out of packet sniffing that request. So I hit google to look for info on the mms protocol, and one of the sites that came up was http://sdp.ppona.com/ Turns out they make a program for saving streaming video... |
heheheh, guess thats the only thing there was left for me... stupid MMS file type :321GFY
