Still listening to NIN?
 

Burans sig made me think how I don't listen to NIN anymore. In fact, I think Reznor fluked out with that entire recording "The Downward Spiral"... I agree it's a great CD.. But it feels retro to me now.

Have you heard the Johnny Cash cover of "Hurt"? It's from his album "The Man Comes Around", and the video has been played on MTV a couple times.

The Downward Spiral is a good album, but my favorite is still Pretty Hate Machine, and fixed is a close second.

PS, you had your kid yet?

Yeah Pretty Hate Machine is a great album, and strangely enough it's still fairly unknown to most.

I saw the video for that Johnny Cash cover... it wasn't... very good. :/

Fixed was fucking remixes and sucked... I have EVERY halo including all the singles and box set... the DVDs double VHS Rare imports. You name it, I still have it.


I must have given that fucker thousands.

All becasue I herd a .MOD (yes AMIGA traking) somone made from a remix of Heresy...

Danny, I liked the Johnny Cash video for Hurt. I don't know anything about JC but maybe it's just because I liked his song, too.

I liked 'fixed' better than broken, but of course it's all a matter of opinion. I also have all the halo's up to 11 or something like that. I got a copy of "demos & remixes" of some of the early stuff. I remember .mod's of NIN songs... I use to have a great collection of .mod's. I was too poor to afford a real soundcard, so I used a Disney Sound Source. Later I hacked that into a small box which I used to red/white box with my Dell386 laptop. Hehe.

NIN version of "hurt" is fuckin awesome still, I just recently heard Johnny Cash's version, I actually kindof liked it also...downward spiral cd has some really good songs (and some shitty ones too)
