Do you think John Lennon's song IMAGINE is awesome? Check this
Was John Lennon's IMAGINE one of the most IMMORAL and EVIL songs ever written?
|
One of the most dishonest, feeble lyrics ever written. Lennon was a complete ASS.
|
A breitbart russian calling Lennon evil and immoral.
:1orglaugh |
People like Shapiro are what's wrong with the world.

Imagine there's no heaven
It's easy if you try No hell below us Above us only sky Imagine all the people living for today "living for today" - so the song - Live Like You Were Dying is wrong as well? Basically each day is special, don't waste it. Make each day meaningful "No Heaven, No Hell" - imagine since many wars are created over religion. Without religion many wars would end since there isn't a reason to fight for. Imagine there's no countries It isn't hard to do Nothing to kill or die for And no religion too Imagine all the people living life in peace, you Lennon is basically saying that wars are created over religion and fighting for land. Remove them and there is very little reason for war. You may say I'm a dreamer But I'm not the only one I hope some day you'll join us And the world will be as one Peace – that’s’ what Lennon always preached – nothing wrong with peace and tolerance for everyone. That mankind will stop fighting against one another and live together in harmony. That’s not impossible but imagine if I can be. Start with the world around you – be at peace with those in your circle. Imagine no possessions I wonder if you can No need for greed or hunger A brotherhood of man Imagine all the people sharing all the world, you If the world was to accept each other’s uniqueness but we still have greed – desire etc. Removing all that we are left to ourselves realizing at the end of the day, we are all human’s on this planet. Who owns us? Those that have all the possessions – remove that and governments etc. will start looking after the people rather than their own pockets. Sharing means sharing the wealth so that no one starves, dies or is without the basic necessities of life. Each child deserves a fighting chance – sharing gives them that chance. You may say I'm a dreamer But I'm not the only one I hope some day you'll join us And the world will be as one Lennon is pleading for us to stop wars, stop rich getting richer and poor getting poorer. Start looking after those in need – bring quality of life to everyone and we can move forward as a race deserving of this planet. Sorry – but I am in total disagreement with his analysis along with his historical facts are wrong. I grew up in that era, so I understand exactly the motive behind the song. |

I fear that if Lennon were alive today, he'd be an old weirdo like Dylan. :-)

Too jewish; didn't watch.
If Lennon was young and in his prime today, he'd be an alt-right shitlord, because it would suit his personality better than what the left has become. Someone like him would always want to change the culture, no matter what the dominant culture might be. |

It's a good song actually.

It's an utopian song as there were many at that time when all dreams were allowed. I love Lennon and this song and I am nostalgic of this post 68 period :stoned
