Apparently Donny Long has popped up again and normally I just ignore the nonsense but Im gonna go on the record so that everyone knows whats fact and what isnt.
First the idea that I dont test is ludicrous, I have way more rigorous testing than the industry uses, first I require a full battery INCLUDING Herpes, second I require an oral HIV test the day of the shoot, they are cheap and they are a good insurance to help keep people safe. Third the guys I use ONLY shoot for me so theres no contamination in the pool from others. The proof being in the pudding, I have been doing porn since 1992 and there has never ever been one single STD as a result of one of my shoots, zero, nada, none. That is one of the reasons I never moved to Cali, theres no way I could shoot in Cali and maintain that safety record...plus I hate Cali...
Now if you wish to believe Donny Long be my guest but thats just the facts.
Next Yes I sold MikeSouth.com after twenty odd years it was time, it was no longer fun and I had said everything I wanted to say many times over. Now instead of waking up and wondering what to write about I spend more time fishing, riding and doing other things I enjoy. No I didnt sell the site to Manwin/MindGeek although it appears that hey did pay the buyer to remove all of the things that they wanted removed...but thats OK that is the buyers right. There were things in the purchase agreement outlining a few things that could NOT happen and those are being abided by.
Anyone who thinks MindGeek bought my silence will have a rude awakening when they see "Pornocracy"....even today I am scheduled in the NPR studios to do a piece that will be aired soon and the topic is MindGeek
Finally a word to the wannabes out there particularly Donny Long, Sean Tompkins and that ilk. If you want the creds...do the work, calling Mark Speigler a child rapist isnt going to get you any respect, even from Speiglers haters. Trying to knock me down will not leave you on top, it only further discredits you.
