Never heard about any journalist or politic who was killed by Putin. Politkovskaya and Nemtsov were killed by Chechens according to both official and unofficial sources.

Russia and the Ukraine are very similar. First of all because the same people live here and there. We speak the same language and have the same traditions. The only serious difference: the Ukraine is very poor in comparison to Russia and it can be compared with Russia of 90's. Everything else is very similar here and there.
