apocalypse now - redux version
 

have you seen it? the film is very long, even compared to the original.

very twisted movie... :uhoh

i have the 5 disc sound library for it, with full 5000$ license that comes with it.

every sound used pre edit.

i have quite a few sound libraries including discs of 'atmosphere' libraries and people recording various ambience from everywhere in the world from airports to horse drawn carriages and military marches.

i have the full Hanna barbera toon sound libraries, its 10 discs of all the silly noises they used in old cartoons, awesome stuff.

the apocolypse now shit is awesome, its 5 discs, and its broken into 'infantry, artillery. aircraft, and 2 others i cant recall

but as you can guess one disc is all the weapons being fired and it comes with a 50 page book cataloging all the sounds into their corresponding trackls.

the aircraft one is cool too, it gives you the strategic mic placement notices and what mic was used etc...

a must have.

Well... it's long. I rented it while I was damn sick a while ago. Good watching while laying in bed... kills time pretty well. :)

I got the redux, too. I watched it once so far and damn... Marlon Brando is just kick ass.

Too bad he went down the drain last 20-30 years :(

Awesome movie....seen the redux one twice now. About every shot is that movie is worth a poster. The colours, the camera angle, the faces....just fucking awesome!
