my spam went way up back from when I purchased a membership from your site. (I was VERY impressed with the site too by the way) None of it was from you - but makes me think someone maybe got their hands on your cc processor's client list and spamed your clients.......without your knowledge.

first off, i'm really glad you liked the site. i've yet to encounter a single person in the industry who hasn't given it praise.

however, just because you suddenly received more emails after joining, your comment is an extreme stretch. let's get real.

actaully the same thing has happened with different email address from products from the same cc processor so I really don't think it's a stretch.

create a specific email address on your server that nooneowould/could POSSIBLY kow about and test it yourself, you won't be impressed.

I think we are a good indication across the net. Sales were slow last week and this week. But they seem to be picking now.

Short hiccup I think, the news coverage is getting boring so people will be back to jerking off in a short while.

there is no doubt in my mind CC companies sell lists without the knowledge of the owner of those emails. Most probably done by an individual company workers.

since i would stake my entire reputation on the plain fact that i've never given out a single email addy, i find it funny (especially since i've had well over 300,000 non-trial subscribers over the years). talk to ibill if you have an issue, but i've never heard of such a thing from any former member of my site. EVER.

hmm, Sleazy's comment would somewhat explain why I have been getting massive spam since I joined quiet's site last year. I never used that particular university addy on the web, except for online computer part purchases.

All of the sudden the spam went thru the roof, although OSU has quite potent spam filters.

oh and I like the site as well, best $19 I ever spent :drinkup
