Harrowing images have captured the moment a Muslim woman screams and cries in pain as she's forced to endure 26 lashes for allegedly having sex outside of marriage .

The Indonesian woman and the man she was accused of having sex with were brought up on a stage and caned in front of a crowd of people.

In Sharia law , sex outside of wedlock is strictly forbidden and those accused face severe punishments.

In the images, the woman can be seen kneeling in front of a mosque as she prepares for her lashes, delivered by a man dressed in black with his face almost entirely covered.

That has not been my experience at all, in all my life.

Ask your Muslim friends to eat bacon, marry outside their religion, allow the children to date, women not cover their hair, wear a mini skirt, etc. It all depends on the extent of their religion if they follow rules laid down 1400 years ago and more applicable to a nomadic desert living than living in the modern world.

The World did move on into the modern age... yes there are orthodox Jews, Christians, and other minor religions, BUT none of them takes the word of their God literally any more not in public anyway. If they did, they would be in jail for murder, rape, pedophilia and host of other crimes. The difference here is, that many Muslims still believe in the old orthodoxy....
