It looks to me like they've quadrupled the special effects which means the movie will suck ass. What a shame. I hope I am wrong, but experience tells me I probably am not.

Also, did anyone else see a bit of that trailer that was clearly stolen directly from Xiao-Xiao 3?

they invented a whole new style of special effects with the new one....

that, to me, buys em the right to add more and push the style to its limits :)

I am a believer that the story will be as good, if not better than the 1st... otherwize, it will be a totally stupid move to put them both in the same year...

I agree...the stuff in the trailer about Neo and Trinity re: their relationship turned me right off. I don't care about that shit when I watch a movie like the Matrix...I wanna see the ass-kicking, not the fucking.

2 years later. The movie is almost complete. I can't wait to see how much of what we did will remain in the film.

The freeway sequence was filmed up near Oakland if I remember correctly. I mentioned a couple of years ago when we got our call sheets.

The work we did was for either 2 or 3, or maybe even both. We were never told which movie we worked on. If what we worked on shows up in the film, It'll be pretty bad ass. :winkwink:

At the end of "Reloaded", after the credits, there will be a trailer for "Revolutions"

There's no R rated movies in the top 20 of all time. But if a movie can make it to the top 20, it's definitly the matrix :)

You forget who the directors are of this movie.. Now I hope I won't get shot for this later on, but these directors arne't your typical hollywood directors.. These 3 movies are their dream, and they aren't going to sacrifice anything for it..
Storyline will be amazing, the shots will be amazing, the effects will be amazing, the acting will be amazing, and everything between will be amazing..

These guys aren't here primarily to make money like some directors such as Speilburg were with the jurassic park movies..

I am pretty sure they want to go down in the record books with these ones

If you're a true Matrix nut, watch the arena football games on NBC this weekend for the trailer again. I caught the trailer on Access Hollywood last night (being the matrix freak that I am, I even taped it because I knew it was going to be on :) ) -- and let me tell you, it looks awesome on the big screen.

Looks better on my 21" trinitron.
