MyFreeCams design: old school VS web2.0?

Hi.
I work with crakrevenue long time.
Today I thought about myfreecams design.
I don't like it, honestly to say.
I think it could be more clean.
Something like chaturbate or runetki.

I started write this post to open discussion that they need modern web2.0 design, etc.
But after that I checked the engagement using similarweb.com
I saw that "old school" design does not affect the engagement. Vice Versa.
Modern desing has less pages per visit (livejasmin is winner with their web2.0)

What is you favourite cam site design? (As for me, I like design on streamate, runetki)
Do you think, that design is important or not?

I've had more success with chaturbate using the same promotion methods with both sites.

I think those stats are more related to the traffic sources rather than design.

For example livejasmin uses a shitload of popups, this brings down the time on site.

PS: How did you get the source of the stats?

Yeah I think their design looks very outdated but their bounce rate is still ok I think. It is more about the content.

I like the simple design of MFC, the website has loyal fans.

it's not the most appealing design, but i guess it works for them :)

For me, Cams is one of those markets that are either a huge hit or a huge bust. MFC is a great hit with my traffic, so hopefully not a thing changes.

When it comes to cams I have always thought the models were more important than the design. You can have a kick ass design and amazing features, but if all of your models just sit there like zombies saying, "Tip for tits BB," it isn't going to work. If you have sexy, fun, engaging models people won't give a shit about the site's design.
