ATTN Britts! Where do you shop for a custom license plate?
I'm looking for a custom license plate for my Jag. The only good Website I know of so far is http://www.regtransfers.co.uk/. Are there any other good ones? I have no idea if 400 pounds for a decent plate is way too expensive or if it's a reasonable price.
TIA :helpme Seb. |
I've used http://www.new-reg.com/ to check prices - but yeah, £400 is about right for something that isn't too sought after :(

Thanks for the URLS. Anyone else?
And yeah... I will probably end up around 400 pounds then. As I want it to be as short as possible (ie A# AAA) for that price range. S. |
P1 LOT
Sold for £66,000 1996 1 SEB Sold for £7,100 1996 222 GFY Sold for £675 2001 1 A Sold for £160,000 1990 1 JAG Sold for £19,000 1992 :1orglaugh What kind of registration do you want? From the looks of it, all [ LETTER NUMBER NUMBER (NUMBER) JAG ] registrations are £999 minimum, W33 JAG is £4000. |
The lowest registration I can find it A5 AAB, and that's on auction. Means it will probably go for an absolute minimum of £500. :(

I'll probably go for something like A# XJS (as I own a good old XJS), or something like A# WFS, which are my initials. Those A# JAG plates are also very nice, but they are at least twice as expensive. As I see it merely as something funny, I'm not going to spend a 1000+ on it.

Yes, some people take it a little seriously. All the vans at Uni have those stupid expensive registration plates on them. I don't know where they got the money from them... probably from the students' tuition fees.
