I wonder how Bin Laden is feeling tonight?

A few days ago, he was exhorting Islamists to become suicide bombers and kill US soldiers. Today, if he is near a TV, he's seeing Iraqis dancing in the streets for joy. I wonder how the families of those few who did pull off the 2 or 3 suicide attacks are feeling tonight?

Iraq may become a Shiite state (Bin Laden, a Saudi, is a Sunni, right?). Time will tell how that pans out. We haven't had a lot of luck with Shiites in the past.

He's probably very lonely for his goat.. who, after being heroically rescued by the "infidels" is now in a farmyard protection program somewhere in Louisiana. The last thing it was heard saying was "Bin Laaaaaaaden". The therapy needed to bring this poor animal back to full health has been extensive, I've been told.

if he's still alive it's today for him, not tonight... he might be in pakistan

A lot of Arabs feel betrayed by the Iraqi people who they thought were pro Saddam, because AlJazeera has been feeding them twisted propoganda.

How to extract ourselves will be a big problem. We need to stay long enough to get a new government, Islamic police, etc., going without overstaying our welcome. We also have to make it clear to everybody that we're not trying to create a colony, satellite state, or crony government. It's going to be dicey. That, plus a lot of the Baathist party people have simply gone into the woodwork and they can be expected to try some pretty spectacular terrorism against our troops there.

Have you been keeping on top of his "therapy"? He gets.. twitchy if you don't..

bhutocracy 04-09-2003 11:49 PM

oh.. I misread the title.. for some reason I thought you meant Bin Laden supporters.. Bin Laden doesn't give a shit about Saddam and wouldn't feel betrayed, If anything he's probably cheering because he's more likely to get hold of some of his WMD now.. he'll be pissed at the televised scenes eroding some of his propaganda though.

I dont know why people follow this cock sucker without hesitation. If he is such a great leader, why doesnt he lead by example.

He can make himself a target for a bunker buster bomb and become a martyr.
