Is this legal? Seems like a good niche, I'd buy it

His USC2257 doesn't seem to imply that the pics are really models or that they're fake. Hmm.. |

Jesus, I knew the cameras were real but I'd think having a site would be a legal nightmare.
|
I own this camera, it was the first we ever bought. When the news hit a few years ago we had the camera on ebay. I pulled it really really quick and figured out how to do that.
It works he he |
Problem with those sites is a lot of the "models" are under 18 and not consenting to those pics. People take them at swimming pools and such where they work the best.

It's "real" in that the effect is real.
It's fake in that we paid the models and had them sign releases and wear our specially prepared bathing suits. Our photog crapped out on us, so we haven't had new content for a while, but it still does pretty decent. Cheers, Backov |
What kind of camera is that I need one!!!!

You can probably get it on ebay for under 100 bucks. I will look for it and give you the model number |

I think this is the model, but I will make sure on it http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tegory=15 075 |

I have the FD95 I hoe that it is the one. How do you test it? |
I'd probably go with a digital from maxmax

It can also see thru tinted windows and sunglasses appear to have clear lenses. Makeup and lipstick will not show up on a woman's face either, that's kinda freaky sometimes. As far as the legalities, it is very illegal to have a site like this and not use paid models and releases because of "the reasonable expectation of privacy" issues. Women expect privacy under their clothes and since what you can see is not viewable with the naked eye you will have problems. And to clarify further we have model releases for all models on this site and all are of legal age. :) Cheers, BV |

then again there are heaps of purpose made packaged CCD's from places like advanced intelligence |

the only difference between the older cameras (what they call fully modified) and the newer ones is that Sony disabled the exposure so you can not adjust it down enough when in nightshot mode. All nightshot mode does when engaged is slide the (infrared filter) out of the way. All normal cameras have this filter built on to the ccd in a fixed position. You can modify any regular camcorder to shoot infrared by taking the camera apart and removing this filter (little blue film) on the ccd, but then in order to shoot normal video again you will have to install an external infrared filter. |

what nm filters do you use? |

Not only does it work, but just shooting in regular old night vision is totally cool! The eyes really glare when you shoot someone. (hm..I suppose you'd glare too if..nevermind).. So besides the "xray" benies, it's also nice cuz of the goth style of content you can make with it. |

Norton freaks in this thread with some JS.Exception.Exploit virus warning. Seemed ok on the page before this though.
