Is This Nostradamus' Prophecy on SARS?
 

Sorry if this has been posted a billion times... I really didnt wanna do this but ive been studying the prophet and reading a previous thread on the topic led me to believe that a lot of you are progressive thinkers and have contemplated the prophecies before. This is the English translation of a quatrain from the french prophet Nostradamus (Source: "The Complete Prophecies Of Nostradamus" - published in 2000):

"The terrible war being prepared in the west,
Will be followed, one year later, by a plague,
Of such virulence it spares neither young, old, nor beast.
Blood, fire, Mercury, Mars, Jupiter in France."

I dont have my original writings doc with me but this is pretty true to form of his original quatrain. The author placed the date of its emergence as falling between 2002 and 2004. Though some interpretations vary a little, and this is what the author of the book had to say to this quatrain:

"Scientists researching the flu virus which followed the First World War of 1918, killing as many as 100 million people worldwide, are warning that a similarly untreatable pandemic could break out again at any time."

Im not saying this is it or that it will kill millions - in all probability it will be contained but SARS would be the most obvious candidate for what he was referring to as the war in Iraq was being prepared initially about a year ago and planetary reference. The only thing missing, that I can see of significance here is that he alludes to the virulence being so great that neither young, old nor "beast" ie animals become affected.

Now its well known that the virus may have originated from animals but as yet there are no reports that animals have contracted it from humans.

NOTE: Maybe if over time we start hearing stories of peoples cats and dogs catching SARS then that would be an indicator?
