Wow, sounds pretty technical from what you just posted! I'm happy that our subscribers don't have to know .htaccess, Java Script, PHP, etc to use our service. Our service is "Plug and Play". Like I said, it's so simple that even Lensman can filter his traffic using our service! :Graucho

May sound complicated but when i write articles i do them as simple as possible.

Therefore, all a webmaster needs to learn is how to copy and paste into notepad ;)

If they cant do that then they shouldnt be a webmaster to start with ;)

Just a few points...

1) You do not need dedicated hosting for ipsorter.
2) We do all the installation and setup for you.

Penn, you say on your site that "Everything is done on your server, not ours", but thats not really true is it?

Out of interest, in this one php file they have to upload, do they have to edit it to decide which surfer goes where, or do you have a niche GUI for them to use?

Our software costs $300 because it is fast and stable, written 100% in C.

You might also want to check your license terms with TJ, because i think your product violates the bit that says:

"You agree to not to distribute the Data or any part, alteration or derivation, in combination with other matter, to any other party"

As for performance, the scenario you describe would have mySQL doing the work (searching the records), so its not really a "PHP v C" comparison.

in your scripts:

$ip2cn_anproxy - anonymous proxy - true or false

one more thing - if script cant obtain user country
(like ip not in base for example) it will set it thru ACCEPTED_LANGUAGE then they will be values like:

EN for English
PL for Polish

etc. etc.

you can change this if you need it
(2-3 lines and you will get more info from browser language but
its not must - but will help with some strange situations)

I can recommend Ip-Sorter.com to anyone looking to gain more
control of their traffic.

Their setup is stable, fast and cheap and you can do a lot more
with it then just redirecting.

to compare ucumseeme's traffic to chokers i bought 100k off ucumseeme....

it's been 2 weeks and they've sent me 10k...

they owe me another 90k and keep telling me they'll "put me into a faster traffic pipeline" ....

sofar i'm totally unimpressed. they have 2 weeks to send me 90k, and at this rate it'll take a year.
