Trump plans to import Russian oil to the USA
Are Comrade Putin and Emperor Trump planning an oil alliance to replace OPEC's US exports toward deleveraging their respective Middle East entanglements?
|
Honestly, we should be at war with OPEC, because they are at war with everyone else. They are nothing more than a criminal group which sole purpose is to price fix.
I'd have nothing aginst working with Russia to take down OPEC. |
Why would the US need to import oil from Russia? The US is now one of the world's largest producers of oil.
This is where Trump's problems begin. He wants to put Rex Tillerson in as the Secretary of State, and his former position was with Exxon and he is very friendly to Russia. Suddenly the State Department wants to import oil from Russia? Why? Is this really the first priority of the Secretary of State? |
crockett spits some objective thoughts instead of blindly agreeing with op. Rare occasion :)

Putin always goes back on his word, this is one, of a few, reasons why he's admonished by the international community.

Meanwhile, I've not seen you ever say anything Obama did was good.. It seems Trump is more worried about us making deals with Russia than he is worried about working with our own govt.. |
Don't forget that the new secretary of state was the ceo of the biggest US oil company and a good friend of Putin.

Yes the coveted, and rarely awarded, Russian Order of Friendship medal awarded him in 2013 after signing a huge deal with Exxon. The thing that sucks is Russians are awesom, it's Putin causing all this animosity with the world. |

Hmmm... Let's think about this a second. With Rex in charge, he might do some shifty government stuff to help Exxon. He will exit Exxon with $180 Mil, but he might still be involved in it the way Cheney was with Haliburton. Trump is besties with Poot. Poot is besties with Rex. The US produces a shit-ton of fossil fuel energy, as does Russa. Does Poot own any stock in Exxon? Maybe. What would be the end-game here? If Exxon were to somehow able to gobble up all of the fossil fuel spots in the US, that would benefit Trump, The Pooter, and Rex. But this seems kind of boring because doesn't Exxon already own most of it? If there was some kind of crazy oil power-play about to go down, what could it be? |

I say fuck their oil and any dumb fuckers that want to believe in religious BS can go there and die.. Christians, Muslims I don't give a fuck, the rest of us sane people can wash our hands of that disaster. |

Exxon is losing $1B a year with their Russia operation due to sanctions. Exxon successfully lobbied for legislation last year that enables the Secretary of State to lift Russia sanctions (soon to be Tillerson) ExxonMobil helped defeat Russia sanctions bill The Exxon arctic deal to drill for Russia is worth $500B. Exxon is a multinational corporation with its own foreign policy division etc. it hasn't been a true blue American company for decades. |

Russia never lost the Cold War... because it never ended.

Quote:
The USSR collapsed and fell apart. It's still broken up and the ex foes of the USSR now work with some of those ex soviet states but not with others who choose to continue on being commies. The entire reason Russia is still a foe of the west, is because Russia choose to remain a commie state with a defacto dictatorship which attempts to carry on as it were the former USSR. |

You don't know if Trump has ever met Putin? Trump said he's met Putin, they were "stable mates". After it was evident that being friends with Putin wasn't helping him, he backtracked :thumbsup First Trump says he's met Putin and they're friends, then he says he's never met him Then he says he doesn't wanna say if he's met Putin |

At this point I am seriously wondering if Trump is a Russian spy.
Where is his wife from again? |

I don't buy new phones every year or a new laptops and most of those kind of things I buy used from CL or other sources to resell and I tend to keep items from time to time when I need a replacement or want something new. Honestly, I just don't "buy" that much new stuff from stores. I'm a pretty savvy shopper when I do. |

Now let me give you a small historical lesson. The Soviet Union has collapsed from the inside and there were two reasons for that: 1) The Russian people got tired of commies and voted against the leading role of Communist Party in Soviet Union. So this declaration was removed from the Constitution in March of 1990. Note, it was a very democratic act - the commies have returned the power to the people, and they officially stopped to rule the country since that time. If I was a president, I would forbid the commies at all (I always just hated their regime). 2) Yeltsin, Shushkevich and Kravchuk dissolved the Soviet Union in December of 1991 (Belavezha Accords) and all Soviet republics, including Russia of course, have got their independence. Personally I believe that was a super cool event! I don't understand who has "won" the Cold War, when and how exactly??? The Soviet Army has been renamed to the Russian Army, all weapons, technologies etc have not dissolved or gone anywhere, they all still here (furthermore, our Army modernizes... e.g. "Satan-2" ICBM was announced). We are still a super power and our Amy is not inferior in strength to NATO or any other military organization on planet Earth. So what has changed? The commie ideology has gone and Russia does not need to feed all those post Soviet republics anymore? I don't see anything bad in these changed. |

You libs are fucking hilarious. Complaining because we might buy oil from Russia? News flash: we/you already do, to the tune of 10-15 thousands barrels a month. In fact Russian oil imports have been at it's highest levels during Obama admin. Would you prefer we keep getting from and bankrolling ISIS?

Russia it's self has rebuilt, but as a defacto dictatorship. Putin has made sure he will never lose an election as if you had a choice. Putin wants a cold war again, because it keeps him in power. As long as Putin is in power it means he gets richer. |

So I don't see a reason for your fun about it. We have a direct voting system in Russia and I'm absolutely sure that my vote was counted. The USA have no direct voting system and that's also a well-known fact. Don't see a reason to argue on that. |
oh come on. The only vote right that Russians had back in 1986,1988 or 1989 was the right to vote who will be the first in that huge line for meat or toilet paper.
USSR fell apart because of economic pressure, thats it. it all went to shit and started falling apart in early 80s because of falling oil prices and US military programs that were too expensive for USSR to do...and they tried to do it anyway, so they ruined the country even more. and yeah bump for your plugin ! and off to bed :1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh Quote:

did you vote for Zyuganov or Zhirinovsky ;-)?

Germany, Romania and Poland are NATO members are and US soldiers were invited by their governments...so, to quote words of some Russian minister when he was asked about puting nuclear missiles near NATO borders - it's not NATO interest where we put our army inside our borders
:-) its all bout moving money here and there by military industrial complex on both sides, open conflict between NATO and Russia would be a suicide for this planet and humanity, so peace:winkwink::winkwink: Quote:
