US Flag on Sadam's Head!!!
did you see the US flag on Sadam's statues head?
:1orglaugh :thumbsup |
Did you hear all those comments on all tv stations
haha |
|
|
they knew it couldnt and wouldnt stay up long, but it's the marines way of telling saddam that they "own" him now
:glugglug |
Not a very good way to get Iraqis to support America.
Iraqis were there trying to pull down the statue themselves, then America comes stomping in and takes over the show and puts a US flag over the statue. They should have allowed Iraqis to tear down the statue themselves, it would be much more symbolic to see them do it than G.I. Joe. |
Oh please.
I'm not sure what YOU saw, but what I saw was the Iraqis and Marines working TOGETHER to pull the fucking statue down. I also saw BOTH flags displayed on the statue before it was brought down. And I saw Iraqis hugging Marines and cheering WITH them once the thing was on the ground. But hey, if you want to focus on 15 seconds of the flag being on the statue's face and ignore the rest of the two-hour situation, that's your perogative... |

LIES! ALL LIES! THE US IS BEING DEFEATED, THE IRAQI INFORMATION MINISTRY SAID SO!
|
Those Iraqis are celebrating so what if an armoured vehicle helped out look at how that thing stayed up they wouldnt have been able to do it without that M88 Tank recovery vehicle that thing can pull a lot
Seeing the cheers as it fell and the hugs the Iraqis gave those Marines was awesome |
many of those Iraqis wont say publically that they want this because they are afraid they will be killed be the iraqi ragime for speaking out
|
This is all just a Hollywood production. The US troops all went crazy in their minds after riding around in circles in the desert lost and have committed suicide after accidentally stumbling in through the gates of Baghdad.
|
If they didnt want us there it would have taken years to get to where we are now they people would not be pointing out who was the enemy in the city and where to fine weapons cache's
We were able to get to the heart of bagdad with comparibly low resistance |

I had that statute toppling drama on my TV for 2 hours and didn't see any women the whole time.
Is Baghdad like one big sausage party or what? |

On a side note, when you watch the footage again (and you know you will see it 372318 times before the week is out) check out the people in the background, the ones across the road. You know what, they dont give a flying fuck about the statue falling. They stood there to watch it come down and then walked away as if nothing happend when it was all over. The people cheering and making the big fuss were acting in exactly the same manner as anti-war protestors in the US and here in Australia. They are just there for a bit of action for the cameras. I might (actually, I'm pretty sure I am) be wrong, but that just the way it looks. You may now proceed to flame me. :2 cents: Edited for typos |
This is nothing. We'll see much bigger celebrations in Baghdad in the coming days.

You cant tell some highschool dropout from Iowa not to wave his flag. I bet Scooter just thought it was the "right thing to do".
