I think Keith Richards is way overrated as a guitarist. Chords and riffs yes but everything else is sloppy as fuck.

I think he is way UNDERrated in that regard.
And yeah, Mick Taylor was a brilliant player when he was in the Stones.
But Keith is like The Edge, George Harrison, or Pete Townsend...
When you hear a song that any of those guys are playing on, you know INSTANTLY who it is.
Forging a distinct voice on the guitar is a lot harder than learning "sweep" technique, or hammer-ons, or playing as fast as you can.
To create something completely unique that is your own voice...well, that is the very definition of an artist.-Robbie

I read a funny Keith quote a few months ago.
It seems that Ron Wood gave up cigarettes and started vaping with E-Cigs.
It's driving Keith crazy. And he supposedly told Ron Wood that he was very disappointed in his "lack of commitment" regarding smoking. lol-Robbie

the questionnaire he filled out above is from when they first started the Rolling Stones fan club. the picture is bigger than what you can see here so open it in a new tab. i'm guessing he originally filled it out in the blue ink, went out and got fucked up, then came back and finished it with the red ink. first he adds 1.5 inches to his height then he adds '& Bloodshot' to his eye color. so fucking awesome!
