What was your film of the year? For me, so far there hasn't been one worth remembering. A few nice ones but mostly rehashes of a previous story. The Jungle Book probably stands out for the Special Effects and story. A rehash of a previous story. :1orglaugh

Scott McD 12-24-2016 03:49 AM

I thought the Force Awakens would have been top of that list..

Worst film? Fucking Ghostbusters...

Force Awakens was 2015 and a rehash of most of the Star Wars movies. How hard is it to move on with a new super weapon, some Space Craft, Daft Wader, etc?

Or does the movie industry think we will keep paying for the same movie over and over again?

Seems they're right on that. :1orglaugh

Don't Breathe
Green Room
Train to Busan
The Nice Guys
Rogue One

Still waiting to see La La Land, which will likely land on this list making it a top 6.

These are my Top 5 picks of the year. Not in any specific order.

AllAboutCams 12-24-2016 08:26 AM

Captain America: Civil War

Was a really crap movie

TheDynasty 12-24-2016 05:09 PM

Movie of the Year "Don't Breathe"

Shit so it was. I'm having a bad day. Apologies... :)

mineistaken 12-24-2016 05:24 PM

hell or high water - overrated, what is the catch there?
Of course still one of the best on OP's list as shit like deadpool or captain america etc are just unbelievably crappy movies.

Interesting list. Don't like horrors but Train to Busan looks good.

DraX 12-25-2016 05:07 AM

Have the Revenant on bluray at home, just haven't had the time to watch it yet. I'm sure to grab a copy of star trek and rogue one at a later time.

PS: "The nice guys" looks doable.

CaptainHowdy 12-25-2016 08:56 AM

That's a crap movie list. The best of 2016 was "Arrival".

bronco67 12-25-2016 09:37 AM

I didn't see many movies this year, but I liked The Nice Guys and Conjuring 2.

babeterminal 12-25-2016 07:59 PM

rogue one will go straight to number one

mineistaken 12-25-2016 08:01 PM

More crap for 2017:
