Anyone using Yahoo Pay Direct?

Pro's & Con's?

I just signed up, so I can't say a lot. The signup process seemed nice and simple. Very competitive with PayPal, except that Yahoo doesn't rule adult business out with their terms. I can't see how any other paypal alternative can compete with Yahoo.

I've had an account with them for about 6 months now. No one else uses it, so I have yet to test it out.

Does YPD allow international users? Otherwise it's totally useless for me... :(

Depends on the country, apparently. I think the way to find it is through your local nationalized version of Yahoo... Like http://uk.paydirect.yahoo.com and so forth

I've used it for about 8 months now and am happy with it. No fees for a personal account, Federally insured, and they don't say 'no' to adult. I've been told that they don't allow adult but I can't find that in their terms.

The only problem I see is with new people signing up; it can take 4-5 days for them to be setup to pay you and/or accept funds.

I recently sent someone $300 and they did not pick up the funds in 7 days and I recieved email stating the transaction had been cancelled -- by me. I asked for logs of what IP had gone in and cancelled but they explained they have a 7-day window for you to cash out.

I've never heard of anyone having their accounts frozen either :)

that right there is a huge plus!

I'm not able to find any Swedish version of that page... seems like it's only for the US & UK that it works for...?
