Not bitter at all. I just think it is a cruel joke for them to play on this industry.

They are shooting themselves in the foot with this one. There are a lot of people who can barely afford to go to one or two shows a year...And there are even more who can not afford to go to any of them. Now they throw a show that will cost a grand even for a local to attend. How stupid is that? So far I have not seen ONE person come forward and defend or even attempt to justify this cost.

IMO...The shows are a good place to network, meet NEW people, and get NEW business relations started. The people who can afford to go to this show already know each other. Seems pretty counter productive to me.

No offense meant to those who are going..but..I have already met you, I will see you again, and I will use my spare grand to run a nice bar tab in Montreal, Miami, Mexico, Vancouver, NYC in September, or wherever.....

First of all that wasn't very nice and in response to your comment, you wouldn't have to spend $1 on a bar tab seeing everyone drinks for free every single night. The idea was an all-inclusive price. So the money isn't thrown away you get a lot for 4 days in NY for $995 with food, transporation and liquor included

I just spent 4 days in Phoenix, I got all of that PLUS Warm weather, met NEW people, had a killer time, and spent ZERO on the show itself.

Please, try again to justify yourself. Who is the brain child behind this event?

I wouldn't quite express my feelings on this as Aaron has, but I can't say that I don't agree. I think this is poorly done and I will not be attending. I'm very disappointed... I've been dying to see something going on here.

But for those of you wanting to come to NYC... you know I'll be having another party in September... so save your money.

For the record...This is not about having to spend the money...I spend well over that amount at the shows and can easily afford it. But what about those who can not? My complaint is about limiting the number of attendees by charging such a high fee. This whole concept is moronic...at best.

The only thing that will justify it it the end at SCORES. If i can score a few blowjobs and ball massages then its all good.

I agree with Aron, this is way to much money just for a show. For 1,000$ they better serve me some Don P, Cristal and all that good shit.

I can pretty much guarantee if they do it again, it won't cost $1000. That's "if".

Too bad it was mishandled, NY would be a great location for an affordable web master show. You can buy a lot of drinks and food for the money they are asking just for the attendance. having included the food and booze,still does not justify the price:2 cents:
