So I finally caught up on the last few episodes of Westworld yesterday, and the season finale blew me away. What a great show!! What did you think about the big reveals?

The only thing I wish is that they would make the robots a little less human.
For example there are scenes with Anthony Hopkins character, Ford, talking to some older robots that are not well refined. Those robots were more "robotic" in the way they look and move. Of course, the modern robots are ultra-perfect, but I wish there was still some subtle clues that would show who they really are.
Then again, maybe the above isn't necessary at all. Seeing the robots in various states of repair or disrepair is reminder enough in a way.
I find it totally believable, especially when you watch the series as a whole.Comment

I think she's a robot, made by Dr. Ford to infiltrate the corporation. When Theresa Cullen came by for the meeting and Charolatte answered the door naked with no shame, after fucking the robot, that was a red flag for me.

No they're not.
If you can, give it a chance. It's a slow moving show that can be hard to pay attention to sometimes, but the payoff is worth it. It's really smart, and even better it's great, great science fiction and not pointless action.

It's slow moving for a point. to get lots of series out of one idea.
The pointless actions are sex scenes in most US series. In this one, it's to show why the robots are malfunctioning and doing it again and again. We know they're retaining memories. Not wiping the RAM and Harddrive to take out all memories, is stupid.
The story line is too narrow, so they keep repeating it.
The problem is they're trying to make us feel sorry for machines without making them really vulnerable.
And there's no payback. Because once that happens Series 2 is out of the question. Or just like TWD endless killings and going nowhere.
