I got the same, it was to a TGP submit email I used a long while ago. It would of had to of been from Shemp, unless Greenguy has a TGP submit list ... Oh, I may have submtited to Greenguy a longer while ago for a test.. Meh... who knows.

What's funny though is I didn't subscribe either! Though I simply unsubscribed. They mentioned their resource getting 10k traffic per day after 2-3 days of being open - I wonder how many webmasters "signed up" for their mailing list. :Graucho

You're probably registered at flashcash. In my opinion, they uses flashcash maillist, because I'm receiving it too & flashcash is only place, where I'm registered & where they both have good contacts.

They use Greenie's link-o-rama mailing list as well

I will say that no, we do not have Shemp's webmaster list NOR do we have Flash Cash's - I can tell you exactly where we got the lists from:

1 - you submitted to link-o-rama.com or any of the other tgp/linklists that I own
2 - you're a member of algcash.com
3 - you were a member of Ultra Cash when Jim was running it ;-P

I don't really consider this as spam. It's webmaster stuff, I at least want to take a look at what's going on. Not like the 950 spams I've gotten already this week from unknown sources trying to sell me everything from penis pills to SE submissions. A one-time notification from GG to 4 of my email addresses isn't going to kill me.


Like he says, you can always unsubscribe. At least on these emails the unsubscribe thing works.

You probably got so many emails because you used different addresses when submitting to any of the link lists or tgps either Greenguy or Myself run or own.

Remember...the remove link on the bottom of the email does work well and you may unsubscribe. Of course...with 8 copies of our newsletter, you are 8 times more likely to win cash or the TGP, MommaBIG.

Either way, I apologize of any inconvenience this may have caused.

Actually i want to see that list....you spammed an email address of a business site i have and i dont recall using that email addy for any adult related stuff.

One newsletter now and again is fine but when my email box gets crammed full of stuff that I have *zero* interest in, I get sick of fucking around with it.

I report virtually all spam to Spam Cop. I never opted in to get "Green Guy and Jim" emails, I don't want them, I have no interest at all in them, and I shouldn't have to unsubscribe to something I never subscribed to to begin with.

oh i wasn't bitching, just arguing the fact that "you'd do the same thing" when in fact I wouldn't. that's all, spam doesn't really bother me for one i have a resource site so at times spam is good for me in finding new resources and plus, it only takes 1/2 a second to hit delete, not really that much of a hassle for me :winkwink:
