Looks like Russia is busted. The World Anti-Doping Agency just laid out their case...

"Asked for their evidence, they zeroed in on the individuals who had enabled the cheating as well as those who had benefited from it, publishing on Friday more than 1,166 pieces of proof, including emails, documents and scientific and forensic analysis of doping samples.

As part of his inquiry, Mr. McLaren examined 100 urine samples of Russian athletes from Sochi out of about 250 that have been preserved since 2014. All of them had been tampered with, Mr. McLaren said, including those of numerous medalists, four of them gold."

I hate to break it to you but all pro athletes are doped...some get caught some do not but as a pro athlete you are faced with constant injuries and huge stress on the body from constant mechanical wear and tear...you can not afford to be natural, you simply do not have the time to recuperate naturally...

those on this forum that have tried steroids know how fast the body recovers while on...its not just steroids of course theres many different types of PED-s...fast acting steroids are out of your system in 5-10 days no drug test in the world can detect them...its a matter of who is lucky to not get caught and who is not...

You are naive if you think its not exactly the same in the USA...its not so much about speed and strength as it is about recovery...recovery on steroids is unbelievable...you can not afford to not be on...

If you have ever trained at pro levels you would understand the huge problem with recovery...you can microdose and get away with it even during competition season...some orals have a half life of 4-5 hours total...in 10-15 hours they are gone...the healing is done...its not about speed or strength at all...its about miraculous recovery...

if you change the delivery mechanism (esther) of a testosterone derivate you can go virtually undetected...doping tests are very very specific, this means they test for an exact substance...for example ben johnson was caught with winstrol (stanazolol) Copy paste: 17β-Hydroxy- 17α-methyl-5α-androstano[3,2-c]pyrazole

If you change just one ring behind the word methyl you are basically invisible to a drug test...it is not enough to test for elevated testosterone levels or blood oxygen levels...you need to find the substance in order for the test to be positive...if it is a fast clearing compound with a very very short half life it is virtually undetectable 10 hours after administration...

You are talking about a handful of cases vs thousands - The entire Russian program seems to have been involved in this.

I have no dog in this fight...I am just telling you that at pro levels you can not afford not to take PED-s...it is the reality of pro sport...you get injured and you can not afford to heal naturally it takes too long you miss too much while others progress...all you have to do is small dose over a long period with an exotic variation that does not show up on tests, yet...

I do not claim all athletes cheat but lance armstrong was one of the most widely tested athletes in the world and he beat the hardest testing system there was for 10 years...the only reason they got "caught" was email not testing...all you have to do is dose carefully and use fast acting PED-s
