Met him once while he was Senator. What an amazing life he had.

An American hero in every sense of the word. Hate to hear of his passing, but he certainly led a full life.

If you're a Space Geek and interested in the Apollo and other eras of the space program, go to Nasa and take the extended tour. It lasts about 5 hours or so, but it's really something. They take you to the original launch pads and inside the original control rooms, which are all still intact, and even to a time capsule. It's a really cool tour that's worth the time and money (about $75 I think). It's alot better than the basic tourist tour that just shows you old movies. |
If i could have 1/4th of an adventurous life that John Glenn lead, I would be very happy. RIP
|
RIP in peace !
|
95 is a good long life. His was a lot fuller than most could ever dream of.
RIP to one of America's foremost heroes. |
I am still impressed that John Glenn went back to the space when he was 77 ! R.I.P.
|
He was a 3rd man on the planet and he has deserved a respect.
|
Straight up legend
