what has happened to Google Images?

I'm looking for the right images on Google. Yesterday in the thumbnail display I would click on the image, stay on Google and see a larger version with more details and can click next of back. Now I don't see the larger version or options. It takes me straight to the site.

For me it just show a larger image as usual.

Steve Rupe 12-08-2016 08:41 AM

It is the same for me.

Demetri BongaCash 12-08-2016 08:43 AM

Everything is ok with Google :)

Coup 12-08-2016 08:52 AM

have you tried turning your computer off and then turning it on again?

Coup 12-08-2016 08:54 AM

Sir, I'm going to have you unplug your modem and then wait 1 minute. Then, plug your modem back in.

Dogpile is very good also

ufotestpilot 12-08-2016 09:54 PM

Some of them take you to the site but I think that's the webmasters doing, not Google's. It's been that way for a while. Otherwise I have no problems.

Google images is not doing their AJAX correctly for all browsers -- use Chrome :2 cents:

I had the Thumbnail display disappear this morning in Firefox. Page refresh restored it.

Remember: "Do no evil" is not longer Google's motto ...

bns666 12-09-2016 08:09 AM

Paul Markham 12-09-2016 08:11 AM

Bad code in Chrome too -- may be a LINUX issue possibly.

Anyway, I enjoy when the dictator fucks up ;0)

For months the larger images disappeared sporadically. Anyway, do as Google says not as they do LOL.
