Advertising scum

Ok, I have seen a lot of shady advertising lately especially when it comes to grabbing peoples attention through the war. This is just the latest advertisement slapped in my face.

Bush Support

It came off the KaZaA networks popups.

My question for you is...how is that shady?

Kazaa is a network to access illegal files and software.

Any popup they do is as ethical as what the fuck you're doing on Kazaa anyway.

Yes, being on KaZaA is somewhat unethical. Your taking things for free that had a cost to others and for the adult industry it is a major problem. Calling me unethical for being on KaZaA is valid even if it is a cheap shot.

The issue though is the problem with misleading potential clients. Firstly, they were basically granting permission to be spammed by siging that "survey". Secondly, this has the overall effect of breeding mistrust in internet users. Its a bad idea.

Sell what your selling, dont sell snake oil.

Once again, the issue isnt KaZaA, I am talking about advertising. Calm down with the whole KaZaA issue its a moot point. The advertising agent, to my knowledge, isnt owned by KaZaA and has its own methods for gaining traffic.

So you little car shitting analogy. Yea, good for your for coming up with it. It was very clever I admit, but its not the issue.

Hmmm...

When you use a program that's designed for people who can't be trusted to abide by copyright law, there's little that any user can say about the breeding of mistrust..

Scootermuze: Read my last post. It is not a KaZaA only affiliate. The point isnt with KaZaA, its with the advertising.
