canon gl2 wide lens, do you use it?
I have it on order, but I'm probably shooting the first 3 hardcore video sets without it, it will be good to see what a difference it makes on the next set of hardcore shoots I do. Do you use it, and does it make a big difference? Do the big guys use it like BrunoB and Bangbus?
edit: dont know why i included this, but maybe its some proof Im for real? eh, I dunno. http://www.corehosting.com/card.jpg |
I use one for my VX2000, gives you much better results, make sure you buy a good expensive one though, should be around $400.00. The cheap ones will distort. Oh and I can't speak for the guys you mentioned but most of the shooters I have shot with use them, especially if they are working up close.

I am real too. However, my digicam isn't advanced enough:

I have it for my GL1. Wouldn't shoot without it.

Jesus BV,
Thats more expencive than the one you get from Canon... Is it more important to pay 400 or is this a better lens than what canon makes.. Also Give me a buzz, I could use you this weekend for Thursday, Friday and Saturday night shoot if your still interested. |
i need to buy one for a GL-1 this week..anyone know the model and best place to get it? just slightly wide angle

Canon makes a .7x wide adapter. Thats most likely wide enough.

So on the wide angle thing... Anyone know of a good wide angle lens for a Sony TRV-25?? I could really use one, but my local stores seem woefully understocked (and uninformed)

The point I was trying to make was go with the better (usually more expensive) lenses for the best quality instead of the cheaper ones. (especially if he's shooting content to sell and since he already has a higher end camera) I also talked with one of the reps over at B & H and he confirmed that the higher end lenses yielded better results which seems logical. Like my friend bought a cheap 2x tele adapter for his gl1 and he said it really sucked, it was like 100 or 150 bucks. So now he has to buy another :-( ALSO, I'll hit u up on icq tomorrow about this weekend. Cheers, BV |
