how much would YOU pay for xxxvideos.com as an end user?

first let me say that I am not trying to diss rick schwarz...I bow down to him and everybody else who had the foresight to make millions out of investing in domain names...I am not being jelly at all, I respect the guy...

ok with that out of the way...

how much would xxxvideos.com be worth to YOU as an end user? how much would you pay for such a domain name? you are NOT allowed to re-sell it, you are the END USER just for arguments sake...

I will start off with my valuation and how much it would be worth to me, I would pay $200 for it and no more, keeping in mind I can not re-sell it only use it as an end user <---important bit

I base my valuation on the fact that out of 100 gTLDs I checked in bulk 61 have "xxxvideos" free to reg...

Feng-PD 11-26-2016 05:31 AM

LOL streamate white label with a Millions dollard domain name. I would have redirected to a Landing page, porn site/ tube at least.

ErectMedia 11-26-2016 08:45 AM

For the last 13 years or so I've sold hand regged $8 expired domains generally in the 1-10k range. Few oddballs at $300, $500, $900 and a couple well above 10k. Thing is whenever I need a domain for one of my own sites I'm generally able to find one at $8 or relatively cheap as think the most I ever paid was $100.

Guess it depends how much profit that site makes and then I'd formulate what the shorter version would be worth to me. If I needed to dump some dough before tax time might not mind overpaying a little but no I wouldn't pay a million as think the domain works for a tube and not really ideal for a cam site. :2 cents:

Google Expert 11-26-2016 09:19 AM

The only thing this domain is good for nowadays is a tube site.

And since i'm not interested in tube sites, i wouldn't consider buying it.

Tube, PayPerView or ClipStore seem more natural than a cam site. :2 cents:

https://www.google.com/search?q=xxx+videos

Not much

xxxgirls.cam is an Open Access domain name -- normal price.
I wish I could get $1 Million :1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh

Moral of the story: A pig will step in its own pigshit at times :2 cents:

clickhappy 11-26-2016 09:39 AM

Maybe $1,000-1,500. This could be another men.com where someone pays too much and spends 10 years trying to figure out the business model

Klen 11-26-2016 09:41 AM

I'l buy that for a dollar.

They may be a joke but google likes them all the same.

I've had great SEO success on some weird ass TLDs. And the best thing is that most of the names are available. So you can have a great looking name but on a weird TLD, but it does't matter anyway cause google does't care and neither do surfers.

Repeat visitors may leak to com. It is much harder to remember weird tld.

myleene 11-26-2016 04:01 PM

Maybe 5-10k.

My guess is that the buyer is actually xvideos.com. If it's them... They sure have the money to do so.

If it's not... They may lose it to them eventually depending on how they use the domain name as it may be too similar to their brand. It's probably why they've not put anything on it yet.

itx 11-26-2016 04:05 PM

XVideos is the current owner of xxx.com and porno.com

Barry-xlovecam 11-26-2016 04:23 PM

https://www.google.com/search?num=10...=1&q=xxxvideos
nope

xxxvideos is not a trademark (tess USPTO)
TM view is down
https://euipo.europa.eu/eSearch/#bas...0+50/xxxvideos

No registered trademark -- no UDRP (*common law trademark seems very remote to me)

Try again ...

Xvideos.com = xnxx.com = porno.com

Dig in the DNS and traffic graph answers are all there :thumbsup I don't post methods here for this kind of stuff for obvious reasons.

itx 11-26-2016 04:44 PM

In a web browser xxx.com and porno.com.

Barry-xlovecam 11-26-2016 05:06 PM

In dig or whois real deal pls.

XNXX.COM, XVIDEOS.COM, XXX.COM and PORNO.COM are using the same D blocks in their server ip -- they are interrelated somehow.

XXXVIDEOS.COM has no apparent IP nor Registry Whois data to lead me to believe they are somehow related.

You would need to subpoena the registrar of XXXVIDEOS.COM for the true whois records ...

*** added: Furthermore, XXXVIDEOS.COM server IP blocks allocation is on another continent.

ErectMedia 11-26-2016 07:05 PM

Dumping major cash on a domain leads to a significant traffic boost as well as everybody talks about it. So ya get a domain, maybe tax purpose benefit and some free traffic. Mainstream domain would probably achieve more free traffic though as more coverage. :2 cents:

I used to post "real deal" step by step proof here and other places years ago, would answer questions, and thieves stealing my stuff would assimilate & cover based on what knowledge I posted.

You already know they're all owned by the same so what else do you need?

Whois is the least reputable source of data you're lucky to get anything there these days, even archived whois.

IP blocks aren't the golden egg that's like saying 2 people live in the same state far away from eachother lol

If the site turns over $15 million. The domain costs 10% of the turnover. Which could be the profit or half?

The thing is the buyer is staying anonymous, so can I suggest not a big boy who wants to tell everyone how big they are.

Think of turnover and R.O.I. and see if it makes sense.

Most of this in in the category of second guessing and counting the money in an other man's pocket. I think that is faulty logic and mental masturbation really.

site:xxxvideos.com LMAO

Maybe he has magic links Paul?

Maybe, the Streamate White Label makes something but it has only been around for a month or so.

http:// xxx video scam site.com/ :1orglaugh

This is a bad joke really -- congratz to the winners

pimpmaster9000 11-27-2016 04:27 AM

oh and I call bullshit on the supposed parking profits too...people search for porn mostly like "big titty blonde" or "beef curtain ho" not "porno" or "xxxvideos" or whatever...it like claiming the domain name "mainstreamstuff.com" made millions in parking...it simply did not...

google trends:
"porno" 2004 = 25.000 monthly searches...
xxx videos 2004 = 10.000 monthly searches...
"sex" 2004 = 63.000 monthly searches

keep in mind that having the domain name "sex.com" in no way guarantees all the 63.000 monthly searches...
