Hey Everyone. I am gathering feedback for a project I am undertaking. I know the amount of trolling may make it impossible to have a serious thread, but if you are interested in providing useful information, that may help your efforts in the future, I am all ears, here on the thread or via other communication methods.

The topic:

Affiliate Tracking Software (affiliate side only)

1. What information is most important as an affiliate you would like to see in your Dashboard? When you log in, you want right in front of you without having to run a report or click around to get to?

2. What are the top metrics you want to track to grow your ROI?

3. Is there a particular feature you think would be useful to help you be more successful?

A) upcoming updates & links to promo content with my affiliate link viewable for copy/paste

B) today's sales

C) today's voids/credits/chargebacks

D) this week's voids/credits/chargebacks

E) month to date voids/credits/chargebacks

F) next check amount and deposit date

G) click data by day/week/month to date

Things like the time relative stats you mentioned in b,c,d,e and g - would you find it useful to have these stats all in "today's" time period on the dashboard, with a flexible option to change the date range? or are you referring to these options overall in the reporting section? I only ask because our platforms do these things already, or should I say, have this information readily available for review.

I was answering question 1, so I'd want to see that on my dash when I login without having to click around to see it. I might be weird, maybe others don't look at those same figures often like I do, and if not that's cool.

3. Webhooks
- HTTP POST to a user specified url when a sale, chargeback etc occurs.
- Once a day HTTP POST traffic stats to a user specified url.

This is exactly the type of feedback I was looking for. Thank you.

One of the things that has come up in this project is exactly that. Where you create a report based on certain filter criteria, and then are able to save that report "setup" so there is no need to go back and put all the filters in again. Simply press a link/button and the report auto-runs. The additional feature of having the results appear on the dashboard, well that's another step, and will be reviewed also.

Keep them coming....

This is loosely related. I'm seeing more and more NATS programs that don't allow sending emails to the affiliate on join, rebill, refund, chargeback, etc.

Is this the new default setting, to hide those options? That would be really sad. :(

Those emails are super useful, and they increase transparency.

Those emails are super useful, and they increase transparency.

This is entirely up to the program owners. The choice is provided to always, never or or affiliates choice to send notifications (which means if you activate receiving them, then you will get them).

So this part is out of our control. The options are there. Perhaps talk to the affiliate managers and see if they are willing to send them to you or perhaps they aren't even aware of that particular option or how to control it. If not, below is a link for affiliates to make sure it is activated on their end, and for program owners so it can be configured to work (if they want to provide this to their affiliates)
