Anyone here ever bought a car through CarMax?
 

I need to get a car and I have a friend who always go though CarMax and loves them. But the reviews online are so-so.
Ever bought from them?

Im kind of debating if I want to lease or go to CarMax and get used. I dont want to go through private dealers cuz I hate them

carmax sounds good if you buy a lemon & have their warranty.

And then I heard about Auto Nation who competes wih CarMax and it seems cars are cheaper there, but there has to be a catch to that. Like less service or something

CarMax is awesome, just about bought a 2015 xts loaded up with 17K miles for 30K. really recommend them.

There have been several negative news pieces about them in Southern California over the years.
