Hey peeps...

I'm in the market for new office furniture. I have 2 computers and 4 monitors and am having trouble finding a nice setup. Currently I'm using 2 old IKEA desks, but they're old and damaged and I'm just tired of them. Please post pictures of your setup to help me get some ideas?

I use 2 machines with 2, 30 inch monitors and a switch, so I no longer have desk size issue, not sure there is a switch for 4 monitors... and the switches now handle 2560+ pix resolution which was the issue in the past. low rez switches.

Check out audio studio desks. They accommodate quite a bit of hardware. Might find a good solution for your setup.

Macbook air + external slim ass display. Dat's it. You have too much shit.

Try a standing desk. I get so much more work done and it is better for your health. Enjoy.

Whatever you do don't get a glass desk. I have one and I absolutely hate it. Constantly cleaning it with windex. As soon as you use it once there are smudges on it.

This is a very old picture of my home office - I am guessing this is 2010 or so.

My desk is a HON office desk. I have two of them side by side and it takes up most of the room. The pictures are misleading - I can fit three monitors on the desk and still have a ton or room on both sides. In fact, when I pay bills at the desk I move the chair over to the right and use the empty desk space there.

Something else that works well is dining room tables. Don't laugh - they are both long and wide and can fit anything you need. During the summer my upstairs home office is super hot so I work from downstairs on a laptop and an extra monitor.

Come to think of it... We had a crappy little typical back yard table and chairs in the back yard. We tossed them and bought a kitchen table... We bought it used in a local yard sale group for $20 - it's huge and heavy and sturdy and works great...

About once every 3 months my wife makes fun of me and I begrudgingly convert my desk to standing for an hour...

Can't bring myself to make a habit of it.
